A Summer resident of Falmouth Heights since 1989 ,Michael Petrizzo has been photographing the special places of Cape Cod and The Islands for 25 years.
"I find it exciting to create an image using a camera followed up with work in a digital darkroom. Cape Cod is my favoritye place on earth and my favorite photographing subject.The possibilities are endless as the Cape and Islands offer numerous scenic vistas, sunsets, nautical themes, landscapes, lighthouses, seascapes and of course that famous Cape Cod Light."
Petrizzo's work has been entered in International Competition and a rendition of Nobska Light won 2nd place out of approx. 20,000 entries In BETTER PHOTO .COM . An image entitled A Cold Winter Night was featured on National Television as a winner in the Weather Channel's Competition Dec. 2005.
Michael was selected for inclusion in the book UPPER CAPE LIGHT with two photos.
"My goal is to expose the beauty which is Cape Cod and bring joy to those who appreciate this special place."
